General information about Kryvchyk

The village of Kryvchyk on the Ternava River is located 15 kilometers north of Dunaivtsi.

Known since 1493 as Kryve. At the end of the 19th century, General Mykhaylo Krupetskyi built a palace in a style combining Baroque and late Gothic, which now houses a psychiatric boarding school.

The remains of a Scythian settlement, as well as caves, which legends connect with the leader of the peasant uprising, Ustym Karmalyuk, have been preserved on Mount Hrabina.
