The village of Soniachnohirske e is located on the Black Sea coast, at the foot of Sunduryuas Mountain, 20 kilometers northeast of Alushta. Known since the 16th century as Kuru-Uzen.

There are three large camping sites, a wide selection of housing in the private sector, several boarding houses. The pebble beach without breakwaters is about a kilometer long.

10 kilometers from here, behind the village of Heneralske, is the famous Jur-Jur waterfall.
