Pishchane

The village Pishchane is a young resort village on the coast of the Kalamitsky Gulf of the Black Sea, at the mouth of the river. Alma, west of Bakhchysarai.

In the II-III centuries. BC. at this place there was a Scythian city (Ust-Alma settlement was excavated on a steep cape in the lower reaches of the Alma), then the Tatar village of Almaly or Alma-Tamak. After the forced deportation of Crimean Tatars by the Soviet occupiers from Crimea to Central Asia in 1944, the village was renamed Pishchane.

The resort began to develop in the middle of the 20th century. Inexpensive boarding houses and recreation centers, narrow sand and gravel beaches.

Село Піщане - молоде курортне селище на узбережжі Каламітської затоки Чорного моря, в гирлі річки Альма, на захід від Бахчисарая.

В II-III століттях до нашої ери на цьому місці існувало скіфське місто (Усть-Альмінське городище розкопане на крутому мисі в пониззі Альми), потім татарське селище Алмали або Альма-Тамак. Після примусової депортації кримських татар радянськими окупантами із Криму в Середню Азію в 1944 році село було перейменоване на Піщане.

Курорт почав розвиватися в середині XX століття. Недорогі пансіонати та бази відпочинку, неширокі піщано-гравійні пляжі.
