Ozera

The village of Ozera is located 40 kilometers south of Svitlovodsk, surrounded by three small lakes.

In 1767, Captain Borovsky received these lands as a reward for his service. Since 1784, the neighboring village of Talova Balka, which has now almost disappeared, has been known. After retiring as a major general, Fedir Borovsky settled in Talova Balka. In 1806, the construction of the Transfiguration Church was completed at his expense. The general himself did not live to see the end of construction and was buried in the temple. One of the last owners of these lands was the Annenko family.

In Soviet times, there was a poultry farm in Ozera, on the territory of which a private zoo has now been created....
