The city of Perevalsk is located between Luhansk and Donetsk.
Founded in 1889, until 1924 the city was called Selezniv mine. In 1924, it was renamed a village named after the Paris Commune. Since 1938 - the city of Parkomuna, since 1964 - Perevalsk.
The building of the electrical workshop of the repair and mechanical plant (1914), the building of the district bakery (beginning of the 20th century), separate buildings at the Perevalska mine have architectural value.
