The village of Danylivka on the Bobrytsia River is located 10 kilometers northwest of Vasylkiv. Administratively, it is part of the Fastiv district of the Kyiv region.
The year 1243 is officially considered the founding date of Danylivka, although a different date is indicated at the entrance to the village - 1238. According to one of the versions, in the 13th century, Danyliv Hrad, founded by the Galician prince Danylo Romanovych, was located here. The Serpent ramparts and the remains of the Polish fortress, built in the 17th century, have survived to this day near Danylivka.
During the times of the Hetmanship, Danilivka was owned by the Kyiv-Mykhaylivskyi Monastery.

Antiquities Museum

The Antiquities Museum in the village of Danylivka was opened in 2010 in the premises of the old school, which later housed the village council. The initiator of the creation was the head of the village Lyubov Bondarenko, who headed the museum.
The exposition includes about 1,000 ancient items that were given to the museum by local residents: furniture, clothes, dishes, work tools, icons. Many embroidered shirts from different regions of Ukraine, women's scarves, and a collection of musical instruments are presented.
