Izky

Izky is a mountain village in the valley of the Repinka River. It was first mentioned in 1600 under the name of Izky-Pylypets.

It belonged to the Dovhai feudal lords, then to the Lipchay. After the end of the liberation war of the Hungarian people in 1703-1711, it passed to the great feudal lord Telekiy.

The church of Saint Nicholas (1798) has been preserved.

In Soviet times, Izky became the largest village of the district, and after the construction of ski lifts - the center of ski tourism.

Ізки - гірське село в долині річки Репінка. Вперше згадується в 1600 році під назвою Ізки-Пилипець.

Належало феодалам Довгаям, потім Липчаям. Після завершення визвольної війни угорського народу 1703-1711 років перейшло великим феодалам Телекіям.

Збереглася церква Святого Миколая (1798 рік).

В радянські часи Ізки стали найбільшим селом району, а після спорудження гірськолижних підйомників - центром гірськолижного туризму.
