The village of Torun is located between the spurs of the Poloninsky Ridge in the upper reaches of the Rika River on the R-21 "Mizhhirya - Dolyna" route near Torunsky Pass (941 meters).
Known since the 17th century. The wooden church of the Introduction of the Holy Virgin (1809) has been preserved.
On the Toruń Pass there is a reinforced concrete Hungarian DOT from the Second World War (probably 1940) and a cemetery of Austro-Hungarian soldiers who died defending the pass during the First World War in 1914-1918. In 1974, a monument was erected in honor of the Soviet soldiers who were the first to enter the land of Transcarpathia.
