The resort village of Ust-Chorna is located in the Horhany mountains at the confluence of the river. Brusturyanka and Mokryanka, forming the river Teresva. Founded at the end of the 18th century. Austrian migrants from Tyrol.
A Catholic church in the Gothic style (18th century) has survived. During the Second World War, the Hungarians erected concrete pillboxes of the "Arpad" line in the vicinity (one of them is located in the center, behind the sculpture of a lumberjack).
There are springs with mineral water and a ski slope (700 m), there is a sanatorium and recreation centers.
