Lazeshchyna

The village of Lazeshchyna is located on the river of the same name under Mount Petros (near Hoverla) on the Rakhiv-Yaremcha highway, on the eastern outskirts of Yasinia.

Formally, 1947 is considered the date of foundation, although the village existed earlier. The name of the village of Lazeshchyna, located on the border of Transcarpathia and Ivano-Frankivsk region, is often interpreted as a "crossing" between these two regions.

The wooden Hutsul Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord (1780), which was moved to Lazeshchyna from Yablunytsia in 1871, has been preserved.

In September, the "Hutsul turnip" festival takes place (turnip here is called a potato).

Село Лазещина розташоване на однойменій річці під горою Петрос (неподалік від Говерли) на трасі Рахів-Яремча, на східній околиці Ясіні.

Формально датою заснування вважається 1947 рік, хоча село існувало і раніше. Назву розташованого на кордоні Закарпаття та Івано-Франківщини села Лазещина часто інтерпретують як "перелаз" між цими двома регіонами.

Збереглася дерев'яна гуцульська церква Преображення Господнього (1780 рік), перенесена в Лазещину з Яблуниці в 1871 році.

У вересні проходить фестиваль "Гуцульська ріпа" (ріпою тут називають картоплю).
