General information about Dulovo

The village of Dulovo on the Mlynovytsia River is located 20 kilometers north of Tiachiv, near Tereblia. Administratively, it is part of the Tiachiv District of Zakarpattia Region.

The first historical mention of Dulovo (Dulfalva) dates back to 1503 (according to other sources, to 1428), although a fortified settlement existed in this place even in Ancent Rus times (the hillfort is located on the southern outskirts of the village).

The brick Trinity Church in the pseudo-Russian style was built in 1924 instead of the old Gothic wooden church.

The village houses the People's History and Local Lore Museum, named after the Soviet tank driver Stepan Vaida, who was born here in 1922.
