The village of Bushtyno is located on the banks of the Tysa River, on the road between Khust and Tiachiv. In the documents of 1389, the village is mentioned as the property of the Transylvanian king Draga, in 1480 - as the estate of voivode Bertolon Dragari, then it was dependent on the owners of Hust castle.
The park of the 18th century has been preserved. In Soviet times, a large pioneer camp "Tysa" was opened here. Now private estates are rented out, green tourism and folk crafts are developing: weaving, embroidery, carving (the museum of ethnography is working). Water sports enthusiasts are attracted by complex rapids on the Tysa River.
