Holubyne

The village of Holubyne is a balneological resort on the northern outskirts of Svaliava.

It was first mentioned in 1430. The name is most likely related to the fact that once there were many pigeons in the vines on the Pine River near the village (according to another version, there was a sentry post here, from where, in case of danger, a carrier pigeon was sent to the Mukachevo Castle).

The village was famous for wicker weaving masters.

In 1878, thanks to the economy of the Counts of Shenborn, the use of mineral water from the Margit, Lugy-Erzhibet, and Pannonia-Zhofia springs located here began. Now several sanatoriums operate on the basis of these sources.

Село Голубине - бальнеологічний курорт на північній околиці Сваляви.

Вперше згадується в 1430 році. Назва, швидше за все, пов'язана з тим, що колись в лозах на річці Піне біля села водилося багато голубів (за іншою версією, тут був сторожовий пост, звідки у випадку небезпеки відправляли поштового голуба до Мукачевського замку).

Село славилося майстрами лозоплетіння.

В 1878 році економією графів Шенборнів розпочалося використання мінеральної води з розташованих тут джерел "Маргіт", "Луги-Ержібет", "Панонія-Жофія". Зараз на базі цих джерел функціонують кілька санаторіїв.
