Poliana is an old village on the Svalіava-Zhdeniievo highway, next to the Kyiv-Chop highway. In the XVII century. became famous as one of the centers of the Oprishkov movement in Transcarpathia.
Since the 18th century belonged to the Earls of Schonborn, who began to develop the resort infrastructure on the mineral water springs discovered here. In the XX century. the industrial bottling of mineral waters was mastered, the most famous of which are now "Poliana Kvasova" and "Poliana Kupel". The sanatoriums "Poliana ", "Kvitka Poloniny" and "Khrustalne Dzherelo" use them to treat diseases of the digestive system.

The Poliana deposit of mineral waters is located two kilometers from the center of the village of Poliana on the left bank of the Velika Pinya River in the Kvasy tract. At first, the water from the Poliana source was transported in barrels, and in 1840 it was bottled and exported to Europe under the name "Polyanska". The new industrial bottling of water "Polyana Kvasova" was launched in 1946.

The Poliana mineral water deposit was first mentioned in 1463 in Hungarian royal charters. The first water hospital was opened here in 1826, and the current pumping station has been operating since 1965.
According to the chemical composition, the mineral water "Poliana Kvasova" belongs to the type of Borjomi-type hydrogen carbonate sodium boric waters (the degree of mineralization is from 6.5 to 12.0 grams per liter) and is characterized by a natural content of healing carbon dioxide. Known for its healing properties since 1840. In a natural way, it stabilizes the acid level of the gastrointestinal tract, balances the water-salt balance of the body, neutralizes the side effects of drugs, overcomes hangovers, and invigorates metabolism. Water is supplied to the pumping station directly from the source. Buvet operates according to the schedule during meal periods.
