The village of Ivankiv is located on highway E-40 "Kyiv - Kharkiv" 5 kilometers east of Boryspil.
It was mentioned for the first time in 1508 in the deed on the sale of these lands to the Kyiv Desert-Nicolas monasteryMonastery. Later, Ivankiv belonged to the Kyiv Castle.
In 1590, Ivankiv master was the Cossack foreman Voytsekh Chanovytsky, but for his participation in Severyn Nalyvayko's uprising, the village was taken from him and handed over to the Polish crown hetman Stanislav Zholkevsky. Zholkevskyi's daughter Sofiya Danylovych became the next owner of Ivankiv. In 1687, Hetman Ivan Mazepa handed over the village to the Pechersk Convent, then it passed to the treasury.
