The monument to the great hetman of Ukraine Ivan Vyhovsky was installed in the square of the central part of the village of Shapovalivka, Konotop district, near the village house of culture at the expense of the district budget.

The bust of Ivan Vyhovsky is installed on a pedestal made of quartzite clay. A metal plate in the form of a charter with the image of hetman attributes: a metal forged coat of arms and a mace, with the inscription: "Ivan Vyhovsky - Hetman of Ukraine". The total height of the monument is 4 meters.

The Museum of the History of the Konotop Battle of 1659 opened in 2007 in the village of Shapovalivka in the premises of the village's cultural center.
It was in Shapovalivka that the Battle of Konotop took place in 1659, during which the Ukrainian-Tatar army led by Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky won an undisputed victory over the army of the Moscow kingdom.

The monument to Ukrainian weapons was erected at the entrance to the village of Shapovalivka in 2009 in honor of the 350th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Konotop.
The memorial sign is an artistic composition of Cossack sabers cutting through a shield, mounted on a low pedestal, and symbolizes the victory of Cossack weapons over the enemy. The inscription on the monument: "Here the glory of Ukrainian weapons was forged! Erected in honor of the 350th anniversary of the glorious victory of the army of Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky in the Battle of Konotop".
The authors of the monument: sculptors Mykola Mazur and Bohdan Mazur, architect - Volodymyr Bykov.
