The village of Malyi Sambir on the Malyi Romen River is located 20 kilometers southwest of Pryluky.
It was founded in 1638 by Prince Yarema Vyshnevetskyi, who resettled people from the Galician city of Sambir to the Left Bank. It belonged to Hetman Ivan Mazepa, then to Ivan Skoropadskyi.
The Church of the Intercession, which was built in 1883, has been preserved. There is a museum of local history and a cultural and educational complex "Sadochok".
Село Малий Самбір на річці Малий Ромен розташоване в 20 кілометрах на південний захід від Прилук.
Засноване в 1638 році князем Яремою Вишневецьким, який переселив на Лівобережжя вихідців з галицького міста Самбір. Належало гетьману Іванові Мазепі, потім Івану Скоропадському.
Збереглася Покровська церква, яка була побудована в 1883 році. Працює краєзнавчий музей і Культурно-пізнавальний комплекс "Садочок".

The Historical and Ethnographic Museum "Batkivska Khata" (Parent's House) in Malyi Sambir opened in 2016 during the festival "We congratulate the strawberry - the first queen berry". The exposition was collected by the efforts of local residents.
You can get acquainted with the ancient history and development of the village of Malyi Sambir in the historical part of the exposition. The "Ukrainian Room" presents the interior of a traditional village hut with household items and samples of clothing from the late 19th - early 20th centuries. The exhibition hall displays products of local folk craftsmen.
