The village of Nobel on the Pripyat River is located between Zarichne and Lyubeshiv. Located on a peninsula in the middle of Lake Nobel, surrounded by Polish forests.
It was first mentioned in the Ipatiev Chronicle in 1158 as the ancient Rus city of Nebel. The settlement was discovered on Church Hill, where the village church now stands.
Село Нобель на річці Прип'ять знаходиться між Зарічним і Любешивом. Розташоване на півострові посеред озера Нобель в оточенні поліських лісів.
Вперше згадується в Іпатіївському літописі в 1158 році як давньоруське місто Небель. Городище виявлено на Церковній горі, де зараз стоїть сільський храм.

Lake Nobel is located in the floodplain of the Prypyat River in the north of Rivne Region.
Its area is 5 square kilometers, the depth is more than 10 meters. The lake divides the peninsula from north to south, on which the village of Nobel is located. The eastern (large) part of the lake is narrow and elongated from north to south, the western part is more oval.
The shores and bottom are sandy, very fragmented. There are four islands. There are crucian carp, tench, pike, perch, catfish, and crayfish. On the banks - nesting of wild geese, ducks and other birds.
