The village of Novyi Vytkiv on the Buzhok River is located 10 kilometers west of Radekhiv.
It was first mentioned in documents in 1469. In the 18th century, Novyi Vytkiv belonged to Count Potocki.
In 1853, the famous opera singer Oleksandr Mishuha was born here (museum opened).
The wooden Transfiguration Church (1738) and the ruins of the Catholic church (1675) have been preserved.
Село Новий Витків над річці Бужок розташоване в 10 кілометрах на захід від Радехова.
В документах вперше згадується в 1469 році. В XVIII столітті Новий Витків належав графу Потоцькому.
В 1853 році тут народився знаменитий оперний співак Олександр Мішуга (відкрито музей).
Збереглася дерев'яна Преображенська церква (1738 рік) та руїни католицького костелу (1675 рік).

The museum of the opera singer Oleksandr Myshuha was opened in the village of Novyi Vytkiv, where he was born in 1853.
The outstanding Ukrainian tenor won world recognition at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries, performing on the best stages of many European capitals: Paris, Rome, Vienna and others.
According to the will, in 1922 he was buried in his native village.
The Myshuha Museum was opened in the People's House of Novyi Vytkiv. The exposition tells about his life and work, about his relations with outstanding contemporaries - Ivan Franko, Mykola Lysenko, Solomiya Krushelnytska, Modest Mentsynskyi. Visitors can listen to a tape recording of Myshuha.
