The village of Kozova on the Oryava River is located 20 kilometers from Skole in the direction of Svaliava along the M-06 (E-50) highway "Kyiv - Chop".
It was first mentioned in 1538. According to legend, the settlement was founded by refugees from the Tatar invasion, having discovered many wild goats in these places.
The wooden Saint Nicolas church, built in 1926, has been preserved.
The Karpaty oil pumping station of the Druzhba oil pipeline is located in the village.
There is a source of source water near the track.
Село Козьова на річці Орява розташоване в 20 кілометрах від Сколе в бік Сваляви по трасі М-06 (Е-50) "Київ - Чоп".
Вперше згадується в 1538 році. За легендою, поселення заснували біженці від татарської навали, виявивши в цих місцях багато диких кіз.
Збереглася дерев'яна Миколаївська церква, збудована в 1926 році.
В селі розміщена нафтоперекачувальна станція "Карпати" нафтопроводу "Дружба".
Біля траси знаходиться джерело джерельної води.

The wooden church of Saint Nicholas in the village of Kozova was built in 1926 by master Leon Dulfik.
The temple is five-bay, cross-shaped in plan. Gilded domes are topped with lanterns with crowns.
The Saint Nicholas Church looks spectacular from the road passing by. Belongs to the community of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
