The small picturesque village of Ryhy on the Sulytsia River is located 5 kilometers south of Lohvytsia.
It has been known since 1721, but burial mounds located in the vicinity testify that people lived here as early as the 9th-13th centuries. The Ascension Church, built in 1792, has not survived.
The only architectural monument is the Zemstvo school, which was built in 1912-1913 according to the project of the architect Opanas Slastion.
