Maryanivka

The village of Maryanivka on the Pozhitochnyi River is located between Lysianka and Zhashkiv, 15 kilometers from the village of Buky.

Known since the 19th century as the landlord estate of Maryanivka, although it may have existed earlier. The name is associated with the name of the landlady Maryana, who owned the estate at the end of the 19th - at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1880-1885, she established a 40-hectare park in Maryanivka. The manor house, built at the beginning of the 20th century by the landowner Kozakovskyi, Maryana's son-in-law, has been preserved.

In Soviet times, a model demonstration state farm was created on the basis of the landlord economy (now - the "Maryanivskyi" pig complex). After the war, the destroyed village was rebuilt, becoming one of the best in Ukraine in terms of the quality of social infrastructure.
