The village of Kornylivka is located 10 kilometers northeast of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi.
Known since 1717. At the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, Kornylivka belonged to Prince Mykola Lopukhin-Demydov, a participant in the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878, the owner of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi.
The wooden Transfiguration Church, built in 1722-1738, has been preserved.
Село Корнилівка розташоване в 10 кілометрах на північний схід від Корсуня-Шевченківського.
Відоме з 1717 року. В кінці XIX - на початку XX століття Корнилівка належала князю Миколі Лопухіну-Демидову, учаснику російсько-турецької війни 1877-1878 років, власнику Корсуня-Шевченківського.
Збереглася дерев'яна Преображенська церква, побудована в 1722-1738 роках.

The wooden Holy Transfiguration Church in the village of Kornylivka was built in 1738 (according to other data, in 1722. Before that, there was an old church of the 17th century in the village.
In 1838, the Transfiguration Church was reconstructed. Apparently, at the same time, a belfry with a tent top was added to it.
The temple is three-domed, cross-shaped in plan.
Currently, the Transfiguration Church is a monument of folk architecture of the Middle Dnipro region.
Belongs to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
