Yampil

The ancient village of Yampil on the Horyn River is located on the R-32 road between Lubar and Kremenets.

It has been known since the 10th century as Tychomel, the center of a separate principality.

In the 12th-13th centuries, it was part of the Kyiv state, then the Galicia-Volyn principality. The current name was given in honor of Yanush Videnskyi, who took possession of the settlement in 1535. Has Magdeburg law since 1616.

In the 16th century, an Arian chapel was built on the territory of the ancient Rus settlement of Tychomel, the ruins of which have survived to this day.

Старовинне селище Ямпіль на річці Горинь розташоване на трасі Р-32 між Любаром і Кременцем.

Відоме з X сторіччя як Тихомель, центр удільного князівства.

В XII-XIII століттях входило до складу Київської держави, потім - Галицько-Волинського князівства. Нинішню назву отримало на честь Януша Віденського, який заволодів поселенням в 1535 році. Магдебурзьке право має з 1616 року.

В XVI столітті на території давньоруського Тіхомельского городища була збудована аріанська каплиця, руїни якої збереглися донині.
