"Mykhailove Chudo": a manor-museum in Poltava region opened to folk songs

The green tourism museum-estate "Mykhailove Chudo" (Michael's Miracle) was opened in the village of Trubaitsi in the Poltava region as part of a charity event in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The private museum was founded by a young couple, Yana and Mykhailo Voloshyn, in the yard of their ancestors, the department of culture of the Khorol district council reports on its official Facebook page.

"In the center of the green yard stands a hut under the reeds, a building from the beginning of the 19th century, which once served as a local tavern. This yard, this land and this hut under the reeds were passed down from grandfather to great-grandfather to grandchildren, until they turned it into a museum," the message says.

In several rooms of the restored hut, the Voloshyn family has placed its own collection of antiquities that tell about the history and culture of their native village with Cossack roots.

"Entering the hut, you walk from room to room, where pots, household items, embroidered towels, icons, chests in which girls put their dowries are exhibited. The hostess of the museum-estate Yana Voloshyna talks about the exhibits, the history of the photographs, the origins of the idea of ​​creating this museum. Everything is beautiful, thoughtful, wise," the culture department says.

In addition to the museum hut, there is another decorated house on the territory of the estate, in which tourists are offered living rooms.

During the charity event, an exhibition of an IDP family from Kharkiv was exhibited in the courtyard of the estate. Folk songs were performed by the troupe of musicians "Trubaitsivski parubky", the women's ensemble "Chervona Kalyna" of the Trubaitsi House of Culture and other local artists. Along with the concert program, a fundraiser was held to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Музей-садибу зеленого туризму "Михайлове чудо" відкрили в селі Трубайці на Полтавщині в межах благодійного заходу на підтримку Збройних сил України. Приватний музей заснувало молоде подружжя Яни та Михайла Волошиних на подвір’ї своїх пращурів, повідомляє відділ культури Хорольської районної ради на офіційній сторінці у Facebook.

"В центрі зеленого двору стоїть хатина під очеретом, забудова початку ХІХ сторіччя, яка колись слугувала місцевою корчмою. Цей двір, ця земля і ця хатина під очеретом передавалася від діда-прадіда внукам, аж доки вони не зробили з неї музей", – йдеться у повідомленні.

В кількох кімнатах відреставрованої хати родина Волошиних розмістила власну колекції старожитностей, які розповідають про історію і культуру їхнього рідного села з козацьким корінням. 

"Увійшовши до хатини, крокуєш із кімнати в кімнату, де експонуються горщики, речі побуту, вишиті рушники, ікони, скрині, у які дівчата складали посаг. Господиня музею-садиби Яна Волошина розповідає про експонати, історію світлин, витоки ідеї створення цього музею. Все гарно, виважено, мудро", – розповідають у відділі культури.

Крім музейної хати, на території садиби є ще один декорований будинок, в якому туристам пропонуються житлові кімнати. 

Під час благодійного заходу на подвір'ї садиби експонувалася виставка родини ВПО із Харкова. Звучали народні пісні у виконанні гурту троїстих музик "Трубайцівські парубки", жіночого ансамблю "Червона калина" Трубайцівського будинку культури та інших місцевих артистів. Поряд із концертною програмою проводився збір коштів на підтримку Збройних сил України.
