The initiators of the project call on Ukrainian hunters to participate in the creation of an exposition about the ancient traditions of Ukrainian hunting.
The first hunting museum in Ukraine is planned to be opened by the Ukrainian Hunting Council (UHC) on the territory of the Kamianets-Podilskyi fortress. The first constituent meeting regarding the implementation of this project was held the other day, the UHC announced on its Facebook page.
The idea of creating a museum was proposed by the participants of the Ukrainian Hunting Forum in Kamianets-Podilskyi in May 2024. It is noted that the mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi, Mykhailo Positko, was happy to support the initiative and assured of full support for the creation of the museum.
To date, the initiators have already developed a project implementation plan. Hunters, artists, representatives of hunting farms and specialized public organizations are invited to participate in its creation.
The main goal of the museum will be to preserve the history and traditions of Ukrainian hunting. The organizers plan to collect exhibits and information related to the development of hunting in Ukraine.
