On the initiative of Boiarka activists, the implementation of the idea of ​​revitalizing the remains of the historical development of a summer cottage village near Kyiv from the late 19th - early 20th centuries began.

The first meeting on the arrangement of the former summer cottage from the late 19th century for its further restoration as a public space took place in Boiarka within the framework of the project "New Life of the Old Summer Cottage" by the efforts of the Boiarka Hromada Foundation and volunteers. This was reported by the press service of the Boiarka City Council.

"The wooden house, which will become the future center of joint activities, resembled a large anthill: work was in full swing here, everyone found their place, everyone invested a piece of themselves in the common cause. We gathered together - people of different professions, different ages, from different corners of the hromada. All united by one idea: to create a place for development, communication, inspiration," the city council said.

The idea of ​​revitalizing the remains of the historical buildings of the Boiarka summer cottages village is gradually coming to life, although at first even the very idea of ​​​​the possibility of using old buildings in the interests of the hromada seemed untenable and unrealistic, noted one of the participants of the discussion Oleksiy Kordun on his Facebook page.

"Now much will depend on the initiative of the Boiarka residents and their willingness not only to say that "it was good to do something with the old houses on Boiarka Khreshchatyk". The first experience turned out to be positive," says the activist.

The next stage of the implementation of the project "New Life of the Old Summer Cottage" should be a 3D scanning of the building.

The old wooden summer cottage, located on the territory of the Kyiv Regional Children's Hospital at 83 Khreshchatyk Street, is one of the hallmarks of Boiarka, part of the city's preserved summer cottage buildings of the late 19th - early 20th centuries.

Перша толока з упорядкування колишньої дачі кінця XIX століття для подальшого її відновлення як громадського простору відбулася у Боярці в межах проєкту "Нове життя старої дачі" зусиллями Фонду Боярської громади та волонтерів. Про це повідомила пресслужба Боярської міської ради.

"Дерев'яний будиночок, що стане майбутнім центром спільнототворення, нагадував великий мурашник: тут кипіла робота, кожен знаходив своє місце, кожен вкладав частинку себе у спільну справу. Ми зібралися разом – люди різних професій, різного віку, з різних куточків громади. Всі об’єднані однією ідеєю: створити місце для розвитку, спілкування, натхнення", – розповіди у міськраді.

Ідея ревіталізації залишків історичної забудови дачного селища Боярка починає потроху втілюватися в життя, хоча на початку навіть сама думка про можливість використання старих будівель в інтересах громади здавалася непідйомною і нереальною, зазначив один з учасників толоки Олексій Кордун на своїй сторінці у Facebook. 

"Тепер багато що залежатиме від ініціативності боярчан та їх готовності не лише говорити, що "було добре щось зробити зі старими будиночками на боярському Хрещатику". Перший досвід виявився позитивним", – вважає активіст.

Наступним етапом реалізації проєкту "Нове життя старої дачі" має стати 3D-сканування будівлі.

Старовинний дерев'яний дачний будинок, що розташований на території Київської обласної дитячої лікарні за адресою вулилиця Хрещатик, 83, є однією з візитівок Боярки, частиною збереженої дачної забудови міста кінця XIX – почтаку XX століття.
