According to ecologists, the first flowers in the Kholodny Yar forests will appear in early March, and mass primrose blooms can be expected in the middle of the month.

The Kholodny Yar National Nature Park, where the largest lowland population of these Red Book flowers grows, urges visitors not to miss the spring snowdrop bloom. On the official Facebook page, the administration of the reserve has already announced excursions to places of mass primrose bloom.

"The Kholodny Yar National Nature Park sincerely invites you to discover the magic of spring nature. Picturesque routes among ancient forests, blooming meadows with the most magical flower of Kholodny Yar - the folded snowdrop, atmospheric locations for photos, fresh air and a break from city noise," the message says.

The administration of the national park recommends booking excursions in advance during the flowering of the snowdrops, as the demand for these services is very high at the height of the season. You can book an excursion to the Snowdrop Glade by phone: +380 99 382 9685..

The flowering of snowdrops in Kholodny Yar usually begins in the first half of March. In particular, last year the national park opened access to one of the places of mass flowering for tourists from March 8.
