The metal sculpture by Roman Murnyk depicts a small Celtic family around a functioning lantern.

The new mini-sculpture "Mama-Celt" was opened in the Schönborn Park on the territory of the Transcarpathian resort "Voyevodyno" to mark the tenth anniversary of the park's foundation. Transcarpathian tourism expert, professor of Uzhhorod National University Fedir Sandor, who took part in the opening of the sculpture, announced this.

"An entire Celtic family has been added to the Voyevodyno Celts, who already have five - the first family mini-sculpture of Transcarpathia. On a forged working lantern, to the top of which a ladder leads, stands a strict Celtic woman with a domestic matsur (Celtic cat - European shorthair), next to which is a chicken ( one of the names of the Celts in Europe is the Gauls, the word "gallus" is from the French - chicken). The Celtic mother looks at two children (symbolizing the resort "Voyevodyno", which is 20 years old, and Schönborn Park, which is 10 years old) - said Fedir Sandor on his Facebook page.

The author of the composition "Mama Celt" is Transcarpathian sculptor Roman Murnyk, who is one of the authors of more than fifty Transcarpathian mini-sculptures.

Нову мініскульптуру "Мама-кельт" відкрили в "Парку Шенборна" на території закарпатського курорту "Воєводино" до десятиріччя від дня заснування парку. Про це повідомив закарпатський туризмознавець, професор Ужгородського національного університету Федір Шандор, який взяв участь у відкритті скульптури.

"До воєводинських кельтів, яких вже пʼять додалося ціле кельтське сімейство – перша сімейна міні-скульптура  Закарпаття. На кованому працюючому ліхтарю, до вершини якого веде драбина, стоїть строга кельтська жінка з домашнім мацуром (кельтська кішка – європейська короткошерста), біля якої курчатко (одна з назв кельтів в Європі – гали, слово "gallus" з французької – курка). Мама-кельт дивиться на двох дітлахів (символізують курорт "Воєводино", якому 20 років, та "Парк Шенборна", якому 10 років)", – розповів Федір Шандор на своїй сторінці у Facebook.

Автор композиції "Мама-кельт" – закарпатський скульптом Роман Мурник, який є одним з авторів понад півсотні закарпатських мініскульптур.
