The Prince Trubetskoi Winery in the Kherson region, the vineyards and the entire surrounding area were under Russian occupation on the very first day of the war, from the morning of February 24. According to the information of the "Information Resistance" group, the occupiers completely looted the wine collection, which was collected by several generations of the company's winemakers. The Russians stole the wine, which had been stored since the beginning of the 20th century, from the time of Prince Trubetskoi. All vineyards of the enterprise are mined. The building of the historic chateau and buildings on the territory, as well as the laboratory of the winery, were destroyed. Stolen equipment and furniture of a restaurant, hotel, office, store. Wines that were aged have disappeared.

The invaders stole everything valuable that was there.
