A number of cultural heritage sites on UNESCO's endangered heritage list were damaged, as well as several museums that were already damaged by Russian attacks in July this year.
Nine objects of cultural heritage from the UNESCO protection zone were damaged in Odesa as a result of enemy shelling on the night of September 25. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy.
According to MKIP, as a result of the rocket attack, the following buildings were damaged: Vorontsov Palace, Marini Ashkinazi's house, Serato and Verani's house, Lerhe's profitable house, Sontag's house, palace (volume of the facade building), Lopukhin and Ralli palace, "Londonsky" hotel, Zolotaryov's house and Mass. The Sea Station suffered significant damage.
In addition, according to the UP, new damage to the building of the Odesa Literary Museum was recorded - powerful explosions shattered windows, and the ceiling in one of the halls collapsed. The Odesa Art Museum reported that after the attack on the night of September 25, it also suffered new damage - a part of the windows, fragments of the ceiling were knocked out, and cracks were added to the walls.
