On November 9, 2022, at 4:00 p.m., the Lviv Museum of the History of Religion will open the exhibition "Wisdom as a Weapon" on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Ukrainian philosopher, teacher and traveler Hryhoriy Skovoroda, which will be celebrated on December 3 this year.
The works of 22 authors in the field of painting, graphics, and weaving will be exhibited at the exhibition, namely: the traveling calligrapher from Slovyansk Oleksiy Chekal, associate professor of the Free Academy of Arts in Cologne (Germany) Oleksandr Yakymenko, teachers from Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Odesa , artists from different parts of Ukraine. Also, the exhibition presents 58 author's posters on the subject of Pannadynia by students of the design and advertising faculties of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts and the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts.
Sofia Kaskun's author's project "Wisdom as a Weapon" is designed to visualize the spiritual heritage of Grigory Skovoroda, to encourage reflection on the depth of his thought, and to draw attention to the philosophy of freedom of spirit.
The exhibition can be viewed until the end of 2022 in the Museum of the History of Religion (Lviv city).
