After the airstrike on January 28, the park-memorial on the territory of Yanukovych's former residence near Kyiv is temporarily closed to visitors.
As a result of Russian drone attacks on the night of January 28, a vintage car museum in the Kyiv region suffered significant damage. This was reported on social networks by the head of the Kyiv regional military administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.
"As a result of a hostile attack by a UAV in the region, the premises in which the very vintage car museum was located were damaged by debris from the downed target," Kalashnyk wrote.
The State Emergency Service of Kyiv region reported that they had extinguished the fire on an area of 600 square meters.
"Preliminarily, 9 vehicles were destroyed in the hangar and 27 were damaged," the State Emergency Service said in a statement.
The published photos show that many cars with license plates that match those displayed in the museum of retro cars on the territory of the Mezhyhirya residence in Novi Petrivtsi have been damaged. This is part of the car collection of the family of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
The administration of the "Mezhyhirya" National Significance Park-Monument does not comment on the incident, but the park has temporarily stopped receiving visitors.
"Dear visitors, on January 28 and 29, the Mezhyhirya State Monument Park will not work due to technical reasons," the institution's official Facebook page said.
