Holy Great Martyr Demetrius of Thessaloniki Church, Buzova

The wooden temple of the holy Great Martyr Demetrius of Thessalonica is the central building of the ethnographic complex "Ukrainian Village".

The temple was founded at the expense of People's Deputy Volodymyr Bondarenko at the place where in 2004 an unsuccessful attempt was made on him - his car was pelted with bottles with a flammable mixture. Construction was completed in 2007.

The temple is built from a cylindrical log in the form of an octagonal rotunda. The interior is decorated with a carved iconostasis in the Ukrainian Baroque style. There is a parish school at the Holy Great Martyr Demetrius of Thessaloniki Church.

Дерев'яний храм святого великомученика Димитрія Солунського є центральною спорудою етнографічного комплексу "Українське село".

Храм заснований коштом народного депутата Володимира Бондаренка на місці, де в 2004 році на нього було скоєно невдалий замах – його автомобіль закидали пляшками з горючою сумішшю. Будівництво було завершено в 2007 році.

Храм збудований із циліндричного зрубу у вигляді восьмикутної ротонди. Інтер'єр прикрашає різьблений іконостас у стилі українського бароко. При храмі святого великомученика Димитрія Солунського діє парафіяльна школа.
