Церква збудована у 1801 році на місці, де за легендою знаходився древній Башівський монастир, спалений татарами в XVII сторіччі. Храм тризрубний, однокупольний, дуже простий за архітектурою. Побудований майстрами Іваном Панасом та Іваном Думаком. Поруч невелика триярусна дзвіниця.
