Hutsul Souvenir Market, Yaremche

Hutsul bazaar is the main souvenir market of Yaremche, which is one of the centers of Hutsul handicrafts.

The market is located next to the road and railway bridge over the Prut River between the city center and the resort area (another souvenir market is located next to the Probiy waterfall).

The basis of the assortment consists of wooden products: carved vases and boxes, souvenir axes (bartka), mugs and saucers, all kinds of sculptures. Hutsul blankets made of felted wool (beds), warm woolen socks and fur slippers are very popular. Embroidered and woven shirts, towels, carpets and bedspreads are presented. Dried mushrooms, honey, nuts and Carpathian herbal tea are sold here.

Гуцульський базар – головний сувенірний ринок Яремчого, яке є одним із центрів гуцульських народних промислів.

Ринок розташований поруч із автомобільним та залізничним мостом через річку Прут між центром міста та курортною зоною (ще один сувенірний базар знаходиться поряд з водоспадом Пробій).

Основу асортименту складають вироби з дерева: різьблені вази та скриньки, сувенірні сокири (бартки), кухлі та блюдця, всілякі скульптури. Великою популярністю користуються гуцульські ковдри з валяної вовни (ліжники), теплі вовняні шкарпетки та хутряні капці. Представлені вишиті та ткані сорочки, рушники, килими та покривала. Тут продають сушені гриби, мед, горіхи і карпатський чай із трав.
