General information about Assumption of Holy Virgin Church (Uhniv)
The Church of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin in the city of Uhniv was built in 1695 at the expense of Khrystofor Dunin. The huge baroque church was designed by the architect Voytsekh Lenartovych.
During Soviet times, the Assumption Church building was used as a warehouse, but the church has been well preserved.
Костел Успіння Пресвятої Богородиці в місті Угнів побудований в 1695 році коштом Христофора Дуніна. Величезний храм у стилі бароко спроєктував архітектор Войцех Ленартович.
За радянських часів будівля Успенського костелу використовувалася як склад, проте храм непогано зберігся.
