General information about VikCars Museum (Sokilnyky)
The modern VikCars Museum of Retro Cars opened in 2025 in Sokilnyky on the outskirts of Lviv. It was originally located in the Dnipro, but during the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation it was relocated to the western region.
The exhibition of vintage cars, which was assembled by the patron and collector Viktor Karachun, covers an area of over 1,300 square meters. Currently, his collection includes 32 specimens, most of which have no analogues in Ukraine, and some are presented only in a few copies in museums and private collections around the world.
The oldest exhibit is the legendary Packard Single Eight from 1925. Another gem of the collection is the 1959 Ford Galaxie Skyliner. Rare models of BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Ferrari etc. are also exhibited.
Сучасний музей ретроавтівок VikCars відкрився 2025 року в Сокільниках на околиці Львова. Початково він розміщувався у Дніпрі, але під час широкомасштабного вторгнення РФ був релокований у західний регіон.
На площі понад 1300 квадратних метрів представлена експозиція старовинних автомобілів, яку зібрав меценат і колекціонер Віктор Карачун. Нині його колекція налічує 32 ексземпляри, більшість із яких не мають аналогів в Україні, а деякі представлені лише в кількох примірниках у музеях і приватних колекціях світу.
Найстарішим експонатом є легендарний Packard Single Eight 1925 року. Ще одна перлина колекції – Ford Galaxie Skyliner 1959 року. Також експонуютьсярідкісні моделі BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Ferrari тощо.
