The Historical and Local Lore Museum of the village of Vysokopillia in the Kherson region was founded in 1980 on the initiative of the head of the district department of culture, Oleksiy Pushkarov.
Since 2011, the museum has been located in the building of the former German school built in 1880. The museum's exposition is presented in five halls: "History of the Foundation of Vysokopillia-Kronau", "Ethnographic Hall", "Room of Battle Glory of Internationalist Soldiers, ATO and JFO", "Room of Battle Glory of the Second World War", "Post-war Period of the Development of Vysokopillia (exhibition dedicated to the liquidators of the consequences of the Chornobyl NPP accident)"
At the beginning of 2022, the museum presented a new exposition - "Room of Life of the Second Half of the 20th Century".
