Horlivka district (Horlivskyi) is located in the eastern part of Donetsk region, on the historical and ethnographic territory of Slobozhanshchyna. Located in the temporarily occupied territory of ORDLO.
The administrative center of Horlivskyi district is the city of Horlivka. The area of the district is 2468 square kilometers. The population of the district reaches 280 thousand people.
The Horlivka district consists of 133 settlements, which are united into 9 territorial hromadas: Uhlehirska, Horlivska, Debaltsivska, Yenakiievska, Zhdanivska, Snizhnianska, Khrestivska, Chystiakivska and Shakhtarska city territorial hromadas.
Горлівський район розташований у східній частині Донецької області, на історико-етнографічній території Слобожанщини. Перебуває на тимчасово окупованій території ОРДЛО.
Адміністративним центром Горлівського району є місто Горлівка. Площа території району становить 2468 квадратних кілометрів. Чисельність населення району сягає 280 тисяч осіб.
До складу Горлівського району входять 133 населені пункти, які об'єднані у 9 територіальних громад: Вуглегірська, Горлівська, Дебальцівська, Єнакієвська, Жданівська, Сніжнянська, Хрестівська, Чистяківська і Шахтарська міські громади.
