Ivanivka

The village of Ivanivka is located on the Vzdvyzha River at the entrance to Chernihiv from the Kyiv side.

Founded in the 17th century, the former name was Yanivka.

In 1744, Danylo Samoylovych, the founder of Ukrainian epidemiology, was born here.

The village of Ivanivka was heavily damaged by Russian invaders at the beginning of the 2022 Russian invasion. On April 3, 2022, the village was liberated from the occupiers.

Село Іванівка розташоване на річці Вздвижа на в'їзді до Чернігова з боку Києва.

Засноване в XVII сторіччі, колишня назва Янівка.

В 1744 році тут народився засновник української епідеміології Данило Самойлович.

Село Іванівка сильно постраждало від російських загарбників на початку російського вторгнення 2022 року. 3 квітня 2022 року село було звільнене від окупантів.
