Ataky

The village of Ataky is a suburb of Khotyn. It is located on the right bank of the Dniester River, opposite Zhvanets. It is connected to Zhvanets by a 300-meter road bridge, along which the H-03 road of national importance passes.

According to one version, the name comes from the Turkish word "otaki" (military camp).

The church of Saint John the Theologian, founded in 1764, has been preserved.

The village of Ataky is one of the centers of carpet making in Khotyn Region.

Село Атаки - передмістя Хотина. Розташоване на правому березі річки Дністер, навпроти Жванця. З'єднується зі Жванцем 300-метровим автомобільним мостом, по якому проходить траса національного значення Н-03.

За однією з версій, назва походить від турецького слова "отаки" (військовий табір).

Збереглася церква Святого Іоанна Богослова, заснована в 1764 році.

Село Атаки є одним із центрів килимарства на Хотинщині.
