The village of Zazdrist on the Tyukha River is located 20 kilometers northwest of Terebovlia, near Strusiv.
The official date of its foundation is 1785, although the first information about it dates back to 1439.
The Orthodox Church of the Exaltation (1876) and the church (1911), rebuilt into the Greek Catholic Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, have been preserved.
In 1892, Yosif Slipy, the future cardinal and patriarch of the UGCC, was born here in the family of the wealthy peasant Ivan Kobernytskyi-Slipy. A museum and a spiritual center were created in his parents' estate.

Офіційною датою заснування вважається 1785 рік, хоча перші відомості про нього відносяться до 1439 року.
Збереглася православна Воздвиженська церква (1876 рік) та костел (1911 рік), перебудований в греко-католицьку церкву Воздвиження Чесного Хреста.
В 1892 році в родині заможного селянина Івана Коберницького-Сліпого тут народився Йосиф Сліпий, майбутній кардинал, патріарх УГКЦ. В садибі його батьків створено музей і духовний центр.

Museum-Manor of Yosyp Slipy - a spiritual and memorial complex in the village of Zazdrist.
Here in 1892, in the family of peasant Ivan Kobernytskyi-Slipy, the patriarch of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church Yosyp Slipy, later Yosyp Kobernytskyi-Dychkovsky, was born.
He took over the leadership of the UGCC in 1944, after the death of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytskyi. He was arrested in 1945 and was held in Soviet camps until 1963. He died in Rome in 1984. According to his will, his ashes were reburied in the crypt of Saint George's Cathedral in Lviv in 1992.
The Museum of Yosyp Slipy is supported by the efforts of the Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great.
The 28-kilometer Way of the Cross leads from the museum to the Zarvanytsia Marian spiritual Center.
