Tynna

The village of Tynna is located 30 kilometers northwest of Dunaivtsi.

It was first mentioned in 1607 as the property of Tomash Humetsyi, a hunter from Podillya. At that time, the village already had a stone church of the Assumption of the Virgin, built at the end of the 16th century instead of the old wooden one. The temple, which is known for its miraculous icon of the Mother of God, has survived to this day. The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin (1869) and the Polish cemetery are also preserved.

The French prince Sharl Anri Nikolya Oton de Nassau-Zihen nicknamed "Invulnerable", known for his adventures and military exploits, spent the last years of his life and was buried in Tynna.

Село Тинна розташоване в 30 кілометрах на північний захід від Дунаївців.

Вперше згадується в 1607 році як власність подільського ловчого Томаша Гумецього. На той момент в селі вже був кам'яний костел Успіння Богородиці, збудований в кінці XVI сторіччя замість старого дерев'яного. Храм, який відомий чудотворною іконою Богородиці, зберігся донині. Також збереглася церква Різдва Богородиці (1869 рік) і польське кладовище.

В Тинні провів останні роки життя і був похований французький принц Шарль Анрі Ніколя Отон де Нассау-Зіген на прізвисько "Невразливий", відомий своїми авантюрами та військовими подвигами.
