Henicheska Hirka

The village of Henicheska Hirka is located at the entrance to the Arabat Spit from the Henichesk side.

The name is related to the feature of the relief - here is the only height in Arabat Spit (about 10 meters). In 1941, the 127th naval battery was located there, which restrained the advance of German troops to the Crimea. A memorial was built: an arched wall and a gun removed from the ship. A red brick church was built nearby.

On the basis of a hot mineral spring (temperature 40-42 ° C), the "Arabat Spit" water clinic operates. Several boarding houses and recreation centers are located along the coastline, and there is a wide choice of housing in the private sector.

Назва пов'язана з особливістю рельєфу - тут знаходиться єдина на Арабатці височина (близько 10 метрів). В 1941 році на ній розташовувалася 127 морська батарея, яка стримувала просування німецьких військ до Криму. Споруджено меморіал: дугоподібна стіна та знята з корабля гармата. Поруч збудовано церкву з червоної цегли.

На базі гарячого мінерального джерела (температура 40-42 ° С) працює водолікарня "Арабатська стрілка". Вздовж берегової лінії розташовано кілька пансіонатів і баз відпочинку, є широкий вибір житла в приватному секторі.
