General information about Molodova
The village of Molodova is located 40 kilometers east of Kharkiv, near Staryi Saltiv.
Founded in the 17th century, it was first mentioned in 1635. The first settlers were runaway peasants from central Russia.
The stone church of the Epiphany (1896) has been preserved.
Село Молодова розташоване в 40 кілометрах на схід від Харкова, поруч зі Старим Салтовом.
Засноване в XVII сторіччі, вперше згадується в 1635 році. Першими поселенцями були селяни-втікачі з центральної росії.
Збереглася кам'яна церква Богоявлення Господнього (1896 рік).

Holy Epiphany Church

The small one-story brick church of the Epiphany is located in the center of the village of Molodova on a high hill.
The temple was built for ten years at the expense of small landowners and residents of the surrounding villages, services began in 1896. In the 1930s, the church was closed by the Soviet authorities, and the high bell tower was destroyed.
Until 2011, the building stood dilapidated. Currently, the Holy Epiphany Church in Molodova is being restored.
