The large village of Ivnytsia on the Ivyanka River is located 20 kilometers north of Andrushivka, on the opposite side of the Skvyrske highway.

It was first mentioned in 1456 as the property of Lazar Brayevych, the ancestor of the Kyiv voivode Adam Kysil. In the 18th century, it was a large trade center with the status of a town.
