Irshansk

The village of Irshansk is a town of metallurgists, which arose during the construction of the Irshan mining and beneficiation plant, which specializes in the extraction and beneficiation of titanium ore.

Located on the Irsha River between Zhytomyr and Korosten. Geological prospectors began exploring the local ilmenite deposits in 1953, the workers' village on the industrial site was unofficially called Titanohrad. Production began in 1956. Now it is one of the largest mining enterprises of Ukraine.

The village has a modern infrastructure.

Селище Іршанськ - містечко металургів, що виникло при будівництві Іршанського гірничо-збагачувального комбінату, який спеціалізується на видобутку та збагаченні титанової руди.

Розташоване на річці Ірша між Житомиром і Коростенем. Геологорозвідники почали досліджувати тутешні родовища ільменіту в 1953 році, робітниче селище на промисловому майданчику неофіційно іменували Титаноград. Виробництво почалося в 1956 році. Зараз це одне з найбільших гірничодобувних підприємств України.

Селище відрізняється сучасною інфраструктурою.
