Yatskivka

The small village Yatskivka on the banks of the Krasnooskol reservoir is located 15 kilometers north of Sviatohirsk. Administratively, it is part of the Lyman territorial community of the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region.

It was founded in the 18th century by the defenders of the Tsareborysivsk outpost destroyed by the Tatars, who remained among the living. According to legend, the founder of the village was the Cossack Yatsko, from where the name came.
