The small resort village of Utos is located next to Partenit on Cape Plaka.
It is believed that there was a Greek settlement Lambat ("lighthouse"), whence the name of the neighboring village of Malyi Mayak. In the X century it is mentioned as one of the cities of the Khazar Khaganate, then - as a Genoese city. During the Turkish rule Kuchuk-Lambat ("big lighthouse") belonged to the Manhup Cadillac.
Karasan Park was founded in the 1930s by Mykola Raevsky Jr., a friend of Oleksandr Pushkin. In 1887, the Raevsky house "Karasan" in the Moorish style was built. In 1907, the palace of Princess Anastasia Haharina was built, stylized as a medieval alpine castle.
The observation deck of Utos Park (1812) offers a magnificent view of Ayudah.
